This Month's Gift

You've Got Mail! If you're member of my Junior Ecology Club, I'll send you a reminder, most often a postcard, that you can redeem (that means turn in and get something in return) for some fun stuff at your credit union or bank.

This is what this month's prize looks like - so don't forget to look for the card in your mailbox. Just take it in, make a deposit to your savings account, and walk out with your gift.

Don't forget to check to see how much your account has grown. Just as the seeds I planted grew into trees that made apples, your seed money will bear fruit, too. When you get older, there will be tons of stuff you want, and it's going to take money to make that happen.

If your bank or credit union doesn't have a Johnny Appleseed Junior Ecology Club, ask them to start one. Wouldn't that be cool, if you actually helped start a club! If you're the shy type, email us and we'll ask for you.
 

Johnny Appleseed Members can go right into their participating financial institution and walk away with this great gift, just for adding to their savings account.

When you pick up your gift, be sure to check your savings account and see how much it has grown since your last visit.  Have you added more to your savings? 

Remember, just like Johnny Appleseed planted seeds to make trees grow, when you "plant" money in your savings account your savings will grow larger. Some day when you are older you'll be glad you "planted" your money into your savings account because you will have money for something you need.
